To celebrate the 30th anniversary of AC/DC's classic "Back In Black" album, Metal Hammer Magazine put together a kick ass cover mounted tribute CD to accompany their July 2010 issue and invited My Ruin to be a part of the high voltage party by covering one of our favorite AC/DC songs of all time..."Have A Drink On Me".
Mick & I have loved AC/DC since we were very young.They were a part of the soundtrack to our lives growing up and we were both honored to be a part of the tribute CD because for us AC/DC represent rock & roll in its purest form. We recorded and mixed this track at Entourage Studios in North Hollywood, Ca. where we spent a few months recording our 6th album 'Ghosts and Good Stories' and had a great time. Mick co-produced the track with Josh Lynch who also co-produced our new album.
