My Ruin recorded our cover of "Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo" by Rick Derringer live at Rios in Leeds while on our "ReligiosiTour" of the UK in 2008.

Mick introduced me to the music of Rick Derringer and I fell in love with it the moment I heard it. This has always been a special song for us. We decided to cover it for this one tour because it's a fun, party song that just made us feel good to perform live as a band at the time.

Although we love the original lyrics, they didn't quite fit our vibe so I decided to revamp them and ad a My Ruin rock and roll twist!
