My Ruin recorded our cover of "Turned Out" by Rollins Band for our album "Ghosts And Good Stories" in 2010.
Henry Rollins has always been an inspiration for me vocally and I really enjoyed recording this song. From the spoken subtle parts to the brutal screams, it was a much needed release on many levels. It still is. G&GS is my favorite My Ruin album and even though we didn't write it, our covering this particular song was so representative of that time in our lives.
