Pure
Self-contained
I can feel the weight of my body
As my voice strains
Desensitized
From beauty scenes
The enemy is the fear
That falls in between
Insomniac
I sleep awake
Displaced from my unconscious state
Unmanageable
Refuse to break
I talk back
Everyone needs a scapegoat
Someone to throw the rocks at
The standard of comparison
The standard of comparison
The standard of comparison
Stab
My soul is not for sale
I have not forgotten my past
But I will not remove the nails
Force-fed your insecurities
I have bled with no regrets
For what I have said before
Or for what
I plan to say next
The standard of comparison
The standard of comparison
The standard of comparison
Odor of sanctity
is not what you smell on me
Can't make the dirty clean
Control the magazine
Under the influence
I've learned to live with this
So I will be your standard of comparison
The standard of comparison
The standard of comparison
The standard of comparison
Your standard, for comparison

So fuckin' great ✊🏽✊🏽🤟🏾♠️🤟🏾 From woe to GO ➡️➡️
From her amazing rendition of Afrikka Bambbatta's World Destruction/Time Zone to the last peep of I Am A Woman. This album is up there with any fine politically resistant tunes. Tarrie B 👍🏽👍🏽✊🏽✊🏽🖤🖤 🤟🏾♠️🤟🏾 - the 'B' is for business!! Love her and her music. 🤟🏾♠️🖤 ArcaneJane ♠️
Bought End of Days, Primigenian, Planet Terror, Red Chariot and Orbiter in one hit, amazing music, great to have found the band, nice replacement for my Hawkwind, love all the albums debbieseven7
Phenomenal Sabbath-esque riffing with amazing tones on both bass and guitar, insane drumming and powerful vocals make this band a complete sonic titan! Wolf Moon
Combining crooned murder ballads with raw, angsty hard rock hooks, Melbourne's The Ugly Kings are a wrecking crew well worth watching. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 15, 2021
OMG, late to the party but this is some of the best occult infused doom stoner tackle I've ever heard. Reference points include Sabbath (obvs), especially with the Ozzy-esque vocals but there's also the melodiousness of early Heep mixing with a more contemporary occult rock sound. It starts in the 70's and makes it to the present day. The riffs are huge but it's their way with a hook that elevates this from your average doom/stoner fare. Very wonderful indeed! egg-magoo
